- Where do I start?
Just click the Get a Quote button at the top of the page and you are on your way! Typically, the information you will provide on that page will be enough for us to race into action. However, if some additional information is necessary we will contact you via email.- What is included with my purchase?
*Our specialty is taking all of your submitted information (sketches, photos, handwritten notes, etc.) and turning them into a professional custom floor plan or 3D rendering. Your custom plans will be delivered electronically by email in the form of a PDF document or JPEG image file type.- Can I have revisions made to my completed design?
Need to make some changes? No problem! With each custom floor plan design purchase, you receive one opportunity to submit minor updates to your custom floor plan at no additional cost. Please note that complete redraws or extensive redesigns will incur additional fees. The assessment of a request for changes is at the discretion of SmartView Design.- How long will it take to complete the project?
We aim to complete your complete your custom plans in three business days or less. This time frame can fluctuate depending on the complexity of the floor plan design and the volume of requests that have been submitted. If the volume of requests we have received is exceptionally high we will contact you with an estimated completion time.- How much does it cost?
Our 2D floor plan designs start at just $99.00! The costs can vary depending on factors such as: the type and quantity of design items you choose, the square footage of the home and the complexity of the design. The best thing you can do right now is click Get a Quote at the top of the page. Remember, getting a quote is free and there is no obligation to purchase.- What is your payment policy?
A typical project requires a 50% deposit. You will receive an invoice for the deposit once you approve your estimate. The remaining amount will be invoiced at the end of the project.
STANDARDS
THIS IS A LIST OF SOME TYPICAL DRAWING STANDARDS THAT ARE USED IN THE CREATION OF EVERY CUSTOM PLAN UNLESS THE CUSTOMER REQUESTS SOMETHING DIFFERENT ON THE INFORMATION THAT IS PROVIDED.
- Square footage is figured on the home exterior perimeter (the outside edge of the exterior walls)
- The drawing size is formatted to print on standard letter size paper (8 1/2"x11"). Other available sizes: legal (8 1/2"x14") & ledger (11"x17")
- 2x6 exterior walls (5 1/2" stud with 1/2" interior wall panel for a 6" wall thickness not including exterior sheathing)
- 2x4 interior walls (3 1/2" stud with 1/2" panel on both sides for a 4 1/2" wall thickness)(certain walls may vary if required for a specific layout)
- 30" and/or 46" wide windows
- 38" wide exterior front door
- 34" wide exterior rear door
- 72" wide patio door (both sliding and swing type)
- 32" interior doors (where space allows)(other interior door sizes that may be used: 16", 24", 30", 36")
- All interior doors are swing type unless otherwise requested
- 36" wide refrigerator space
- 30" wide range/oven space
- 60" wide washer & dryer space
- 32"x32" furnace space (minimum)
- 24"x24" water heater space (minimum)
- All cabinetry widths will be in 3" increments
- Kitchen cabinets are 24" deep with 25" deep countertops
- Bath vanity cabinets are 18" deep with 19" deep countertops
- 24" depth for standard closets (walk-in closets vary by plan)
- Listed room sizes may be rounded to the nearest whole inch
